The Frog
The Frog is the single biggest problem in your plan — the one to fix first, because it quietly sinks the rest if you ignore it.
What it means
The name comes from the old line about eating the frog first: do the hardest, most important thing before anything else. In a BadMars report, the Frog is the finding that matters most — not the longest item on the list, the one that changes everything downstream.
A ranked list of problems is useful; a single named priority is actionable. The Frog turns a report into a next move.
How BadMars uses it
Every Mission Report names one Frog. BadMars also tracks whether you eat it: mark it resolved with evidence and your Score can improve — the one place BadMars shows green, reserved for something that genuinely survived.
